Requirements: Our client is looking for someone to join their family of employees as an Environmental/HydroGeologist. This is an opportunity to work under the direct supervision of our Hydrogeology staff, within the scope of environmental soil and groundwater investigation/characterization/remediation projects. The candidate should have advanced writing skills, strong field experience and should be willing to work and travel to various client sites. The position requires occasional, to frequent, outdoor activities over a broad range of weather conditions which may include walking over rugged terrain and wearing personal safety equipment, including protective clothing, respirators, and other safety equipment as dictated by site conditions.

Brief Job Description:
- Work in a multi-disciplinary office, engaged in environmental projects
- Work with the client and regulators to determine what sampling techniques will be applied.
- Will be the point of contact for the lead technical staff which will finalize these documents and will play a role in the analysis, interpreting the analysis results and make recommendations on the corrective actions.
- Field sampling, using various techniques for soil and groundwater sampling
- Managing soil and groundwater investigations/characterizations, and assisting in conceptual design of aquifer restorations systems
- Preparation of concise and informative technical reports for commercial, institutional, and government clients
Required Skills:
- BS in Geology or Hydrogeology
- Minimum 7 - 8 + years of environmental experience, preferably with a consulting firm
- Strong field experience with one or more of the following drilling methods; hollow-stem auger, air rotary, and direct-push soil probe technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must pass Physical Examination
- 40-hour Hazwoper training
- Knowledgeable use of MS Word and Excel
