Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Health, Safety, Environment/OI, the Integrity Engineer will work within the Eagle Ford Delivery Unit with support and interaction from the North American Operations HSE/OI Department.  The Integrity Engineer will provide Texas-based technical support to our upstream operating areas. This will include managing integrity programs and compliance to Regulations, Acts and Corporate Programs.
This role will be responsible to:
?Provide corrosion and integrity management related technical expertise for well sites, pipelines and pressure piping.  This may include: risk assessment, cathodic protection, coatings and linings, chemical inhibition and monitoring, material selection, inspection techniques, and repair methods.
?Support local operations in creating and supporting integrity programs for oil and gas producing systems including: mitigation, monitoring, inspection, and repair
?Create and manage pipeline integrity management program for DOT/PHMSA regulated pipelines
?Lead or participate in risk assessments and HAZOPS
?Review and signoff on integrity related MOC requests and Engineering Assessments
?Support Operations with incident investigations including: failure analyses, reports, regulatory issues and return-to-service recommendations
?Focus integrity activities on regulatory compliance, conformance to TLM specifications, fit for purpose philosophy and total life cycle cost
?Work with facilities engineering and operations to plan, supervise and execute integrity related activities such as ILI, repairs, failure investigations, corrosion mitigation plans etc.
?Mentoring and training of field-based integrity/maintenance personnel
?Liaise with NAO HSE/OI group on incident investigation, KPI reporting and roll out of regional integrity practices 

Education, Experience, Technical Qualifications:
?B.S. in Engineering discipline
?Knowledge and experience with safe work practices in oil and gas production accompanied by a proactive safety attitude
?Minimum 5 years of direct experience in corrosion asset integrity engineering and / or inspection within the oil and gas industry
?Related industrial experience, with a P.E., E.I.T or C.E.T. designation in Corrosion, Chemical, Petroleum, Metallurgical and/or Materials Engineering / Technology
?DOT/PHMSA regulatory knowledge/training
?Corrosion related designations with NACE, API, ASME, or ASBA certifications and competencies would be a definite asset
?Strong working knowledge of operations, corrosion design, chemical mitigation, cathodic protection, materials selection, pipeline coatings, inspection techniques, pigging maintenance, monitoring controls,  industry codes, standards and regulations

? Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem solving, organizational and computer skills
?Initiative and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
?Ability to work and set priorities in a multitask environment
?Ability to travel regularly to operating locations is required
