 This is your opportunity to join a talented team of Process Control Engineers working on automation systems for chemical operations. You'll work with a technically advanced team using both traditional and advanced control techniques to improve existing processes. You'll be a key player in developing, planning and implementing capital projects for every conceivable aspect of plant enhancement requiring industrial controls. You will support, expand, and maintain state of the art networks, historians, and virtual systems and enjoy working independently, doing hands-on programming. If you're passionate about what you do and excited about the chance to stretch your abilities, this is a position that will challenge you to use and further develop your complete skill-set.
To be successful in this position you will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Electrical preferred), or equivalent experience, significant experience as a Process Control Engineer with hands-on programming responsibilities, and a minimum of five years' industrial, chemical or petrochemical plant experience. DCS experience required, Siemens is preferred. You should have an understanding of chemical processeses, have knowledge of control theory and familiarity with common instrumentation and wiring practices (preferred). An Engineer in Training certificate, CSE or other professional engineering license would be a strong plus.
