Motorhand - Canada

Motorhand - a crew member who is responsible for rig equipment such as engines, compounds, air compressors, pumps; assists rigging up/down of rig; assists with drill pipe and drill collar slips; relieves driller.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping worksite, equipment and tools clean and in good working order under direction of Rig Manager and/or Driller
• Assist with rig mobilization and de-mobilization
• Participate in safety meetings, rig inspections, and emergency procedure drills.
• Identify safety issues and problems, take corrective action and follow through.
• Assist with Blow Out Prevention Procedures

Qualifications:

• H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, previous mechanical experience
• Strong commitment to safety
• Work is physically demanding and is outdoors subject to extreme weather conditions
• To ensure a safe work environment, our company has a Drug and Alcohol - Fit for Duty Policy
