Job Description:
In this "boutique" type offshore/ oil & gas engineering firm you will have the opportunity to experience big company expertise packed into a small-company culture. There are many opportunities to grow professionally, learn new skills, and acquire knowledge.  In this position you will be based in Houston, TX, and be responsible for process design of offshore and offshore oil production facilities and gas separation equipment.  

To be considered you need:
*  Minimum five years experience as a Chemical / Process Engineer in oil & gas field production design.
*  BS in Chemical Engineering
*  HYSYS & ASPEN software experience (input, use, and interpretation)
*  Offshore process design experience is required.
*  Must be able to read and understand PVT Analysis for input to HYSYS
*  Must be able to develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for upstream (oil field) process design.
*  Must be able to read and understand Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs)
*  Must be able to model / input flare and vent piping arrangements for ASPEN
*  Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*  Must be able to communicate effectively with peers and other team members

This client is set on hiring someone with the offshore experience who could come in tomorrow and get rolling on our offshore production platform projects without too much instruction.  Their only Process Engineer left and is actually working for them now on a contractual basis.  Once they hire someone, there will not be a process engineer around
All candidates must be able to work legally in the US without company sponsorship.
