Project Superintendent

Position will assist operating companies (clientele) with the implementation of their occupational health & safety standards and industry recommended practices. This is achieved through and by United Safety's policy, standards, procedures and management direction. This is conducted in a variety of environments in the upstream, midstream and downstream petroleum industry including plant turnaround and construction project.  Accepting applications from canadidates with Canadian work authorization.

• 1. Conduct job observations - Critically examine all aspects of work being performed
  2. Risk & hazard identification - Identify type and level of at risk activities.  
  3. Incident/accident reporting - Understand the procedures and process for reporting all incidents & accidents.
  4. Ensure thorough knowledge and compliance with of Confined Space & Fall Protection Policies and Procedures
  5. Review of prepared Rescue Plans - Conduct assessments on Rescue Plans prepared for specific confined spaces, cross-referencing with blueprints whenever possible.
  6. Experienced with H.P. and L.P. breathing air applications
