Senior Engineer - Mechanical

• Accountable for the design and development of new products that are competitive and profitable, improving designs on current products for longer life and more reliability and testing products at field locations
• Research customer requirements through sales, marketing and public information sources to ensure maximum product application. Develop business-case documentation to support research projects
• Participates in engineering society task groups, industry committees, and develop sales/engineering presentations
• May be indirectly accountable for supervising, training, developing, motivating and guiding subordinate personnel to achieve project objectives. Guides and coordinates efforts of drafters and technicians
• Directly responsible for research and development projects, including man-hours, budgets, and customer interfaces
• Additional experience with ASME, DNV and API design methodologies is preferred.
• A fully developed engineer with substantial expertise, working under minimum direction from the Engineering Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S., M.S. or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with 7 - 10 years related experience
