•Determining the type of machinery required and appropriate industry standards for a specific application.  Defining which options within these specific categories of equipment are pertinent for that specific application.
•Preparing data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment, packaged units, or utility equipment: - pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, refrigeration systems, water treating systems, etc.
•Preparing technical bid evaluations, attend/conduct vendor bid reviews, and provide other vendor interfacing as required.
•Reviewing vendor documentation and providing engineering coordination of technical information with vendors.
•Providing a necessary interdisciplinary design interface to facilitate design work.
•Witnessing acceptance tests at vendor shops.
•Providing field commissioning and startup support when required.

•Bachelor's degree in (Mechanical) Engineering.
•Must possess progressive experience with offshore oil and gas projects, LNG liquefaction experience desired.
•Minimum 10+ years of experience, specifically in static equipment and rotating machinery specification and selection. P.E. License desired.
•Good working knowledge of current API, DNV and ABS standards for rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, centrifugal compressors, gas turbines and auxiliary systems.
•Significant application experience with process pumps and/or compressors is essential.
•Engineering contractor experience preferred.•Additional experience with installation and commissioning is a plus
