Job Description:
|
Minimum BS degree and 8-15 years technical mooring design experience with temporary (MODU) and permanent floating structures. Marine operations and offshore installation knowledge a plus. This position is for a technical lead to assist in growing/improving our technical capabilities. Duties and responsibilities include:
• The design and analysis of temporary and permanent mooring systems using HydroD, GMoor32, Orcaflex, and DeepC software applications;
• Hydrodynamic and aerodynamic calculations;
• Permanent and temporary mooring design (strength and fatigue) for shallow and deepwater applications;
• Supervision of mooring system design work across multiple projects;
• Supervision of lowering analysis for subsea equipment installation;
• Supervision and training of junior engineers;
• Costing, scheduling and tender development;
• Effective report writing and communication skills.
