 Seeking HSSE Manager to work with a Major Operator on the design and construction phases of a major LNG Shipbuilding project. Above market salary, excellent benefits, long term opportunity. MUST have Asia project experience.
Location: May be based out of Houston, Singapore, or London

The HSSE Manager for the tender evaluation and selection phases of the project is the director of activities related to Health, Safety, Security and Environment, including technical and administrative functions (i.e., planning, organizing, interpreting, coordinating, and executing group or project assignments) in accordance with organizational standards. This function is cognizant of the issues in the oil & gas and shipbuilding industries, as well as the challenges facing the company and coordinates strengths, resources, and capabilities to achieve the corporation's goals and objectives.
This position will have specific role in the organization that is assigned to a project team with an objective to build two new construction LNG carriers in China. The HSSE Manager will assess HSSE capability and rate performance during the tendering process as well as attend clarification meetings with shipyards and track results.
Qualifications:
-Specially trained as a lead auditor.
-Good communication, presentation and soft skills.
-Preference for NEBOSH qualifications (or equivalent)
Experience:
-Related HSSE professional work experience in the maritime industry, preferably with BSc level technical study.
-Experience in all stages of project management, preferably in new vessel (Oil & Gas Industry) construction as it relates HSSE
-Prior experience working in the Far East is essential.
-Preference for professional mariner experience.
