Alliance Marine Services, aligned with a prestigious offshore services company, seeks applications from U.S. citizens for the position of Chief Engineer for temporary employment on Technips' new sophisticated DP2 pipelay/derrick vessel, the Global 1200. The vessel is Vanuatu Flag and will be working in the GOM as well as worldwide locations in the future.
Chief Engineer candidates shall possess the following at a minimum:
STCW: III/2
License:
USCG Chief Engineer Unlimited Horsepower Motors or International Equivalent
Vanuatu License/Endorsement (Or Application in at Time of Engagement)
Certificates: Basic Fire fighting, Advanced Fire fighting
Experience: Minimum 3 years service on DP-2 or DP-3 class vessel serving as 2nd Engineer, or Chief Engineer; at least 1 year as Chief Engineer
All candidates must possess the following at a minimum.
- HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training) Not exceeding 5-years
- Safe Gulf (As required)
- Z-Card
- TWIC Card (As required)
- Current Passport evidencing U.S. citizenship
- Required Visas
