Petroleum Field Services is recruiting a highly qualified Sr. District Landman for our client located in Tulsa Oklahoma. Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Support the East Texas area, with specific experience with Henderson, Harrison, Panola, Shelby, San Augustine, Tyler, Newton, and Jasper counties.
• Manage and negotiate complex land issues, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures.
• Represent company as a technical expert on complex land activities.
• Lead and direct projects; provide technical expertise to team.
Experience/Qualifications:
• B.S. degree in Business Management or related degree required;
• 10+ years of In-house industry experience required; 5-7 years experience of In-house for District Landman level.
• AAPL "Registered Land Professional" designation (or greater) preferred;
• Competent to serve as a technical expert on complex land activities;
• Proven ability to lead or direct projects and supply technical expertise and leadership to team;
• Proficient in writing and negotiating contracts;
• Proven history of successfully managing and negotiating complex land issues and joint ventures;
• Proven history of maintaining and nurturing business contacts;
• Prior experience working for a major and a large independent.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, selling and buying acreage
