Job Description:
|
 The Project Manager will be expected to manage project activities to client's satisfaction, within the established budget and schedule in order to deliver a complete, functional design or facility. The Project Manager will represent Mustang's interest in client communications and negotiations. This position will generally lead a project or be responsible for a portion of a larger project, reporting to another project manager. Additional duties include preparation of proposals or assistance in proposal preparation.
Specific skills and responsibilities include:
Plan and lead the writing of proposals for all phases of EPCM and PMC work.
Plan, direct, co-ordinate, control and manage the work
Execute Project in accordance with corporate practices and Project procedures
Developing and implementing a project execution plan that meets with Company and Contract requirements
Provide leadership and commitment to the Project HSE and Quality Plan
Keeping to the control budget within the objectives established for the Project
To focus upon customer care and customer feedback
To understand the Project 'business case' and drivers
Act as focal point for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Support services resources deployed on the project
Interface closely with client management representatives to ensure client interests are being accommodated
Clearly define and communicate the project objectives and organization to the Project team
To feedback to the Company, data related to performance of work on a regular basis
To monitor and expedite account receivables for the Project
To document lessons learned and to review/implement lessons learned from other Projects
To protect the reputation of Mustang
To close out the Project
Travel opportunities to US & international fabrication and construction sites as needed for construction management
Engineering Degree
20+ years experience in an engineering or construction related industry, with 10+ years in a supervisory or management capacity and experience in medium to large, complex LNG projects
Excellent communication, supervision, and managerial skills
Fabrication yard or offshore construction experiences is a plus
Texas Professional Engineering registration preferred
