Job Description:
We are currently looking to fill various Shop and Warehouse positions.  Qualified applicants will have training or experience in working in the oil and gas industry (drilling prefered).

Work may include:

 Ensure that all operation of machinery and mechanical equipment is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with the manufacturers' specifications;
 Maintain all machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with TFI  planned maintenance system and to manufacturers' specifications
 Carry out unscheduled repairs to machinery and mechanical equipment.
 Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs products and equipment.
 Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of products equipment.
 Prepares and maintains records and reports.
 Follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturers' service specifications.
 Carry out all duties in the safest possible manner and ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly
 Conduct visual, and where possible functional, inspections of equipment both prior to use and at periodic intervals
 Take responsibility for planned maintenance, certification, record-keeping and reporting
 Maintain all required records, documentation and certification of machinery and mechanical equipment  
 Assist, in conjunction with the Shop Manage, the inventory of spares and replacement parts for mechanical equipment.
 Conduct routine maintenance as scheduled.
 Ensure understanding of, and compliance with, TFI's work system.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 Able to legally work full time in the US;
 Ability to communicate effectively ;
 Standard requirements. Bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and reaching will all be used occasionally in this position
 Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds
 Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience and/or training in equipment repair and/or maintenance shop or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Considerable knowledge of:
 Methods, materials, tools and techniques used in equipment repair and maintenance.
 Diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs.
 Safety practices and procedures.

Ability to:
 Work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
 Diagnose problems and make repairs in the field when necessary.
 Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
 Work extended hours outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
 Prepare and maintain records and reports.
 Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.
 Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Working knowledge of:
 Mechanical design and fabrication.
 Skill in:
 Use of power and hand tools.
 Use of diagnostic equipment.
