Help save and protect the one and only Earth we have. Our Site Manager will focus on developing and managing complex projects by utilizing their past experiences in planning, budgeting and projecting staff needs. Our Site Manager will lead remediation/construction aspects of the job and must be able to delegate tasks appropriately to their team members. You should be an effective leader and communicator with 10-14 years experience including management of environmental construction projects and contractors, have a BS or MS degree in an environmental field, and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each environmental site management job. Our Environmental Site Managers: Lead in the application of CH2M HILL's Project Delivery System to achieve the following project delivery strategic objectives: health, safety, environmental responsibility; client expectations for quality, schedule, and budget; financial performance for project specific targets; project team expectations; operational performance and business unit expectations; and quality Manage multiple projects that are larger than $250, 000.00 in value involving site management and remediation Manage projects from a change and risk management perspective while negotiating solutions through to project completion Plan, staff, schedule, budget, coordinate subcontractors and internal support, and assure quality as well as safety Demonstrate their strong record in health and safety, including experience with behavior-based health & safety programs Interact and engage with clients, contractors and regulators; build and manage client and stakeholder relationships Develop project scope, manage multiple complex projects, and write/review reports and proposals with a diverse team of professionals including sub-consultants Lead the identification of cost and schedule variances and the development of solutions and initiate corrective action Grow the project management resources of the firm through coaching of junior and mid-level project managers and task managers Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) designation is an asset Additional information: Must be able to travel to our Edmonton office and possibly to other sites as needed.
