At Key Energy Services our mission is to be a leading global well intervention and production enhancement service company. Key Energy is the largest provider of onshore well service rigs in the United States and one of the leading onshore, rig-based well servicing contractors in the world. We provide a complete range of well services, including rig-based well maintenance, workover, well completion and recompletion, fluid management, coiled tubing, fishing and rental, hydra walk and ancillary oilfield services.
We are currently seeking a District Manager for our Rig Division located in the West Coast Marketplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages all business activities of his/her cost center or area of operations
• Confers with customers to promote the sale of district's lines of business and to broaden customer-base and markets
• Ensures appropriate resources necessary to achieve objectives are available
• Ensures safety and environmental compliance, as well as overseeing daily operations
• Directs safety program activities as well as implementing policies, procedures and programs
• Manages and develops plans for efficient use of equipment and materials, as well as directing personnel activities
• Manages product and service quality for district
• Supervises direct reports and assisting in daily operation functions which include personnel decisions regarding hiring, training, placement, discipline and terminations
• Tracks revenue and expenses for assigned area
• Have understanding of California labor laws
• Responsible for providing management and development of the work force including training, performance appraisal and other human resources issues
• Have understanding of environmental requirements in California and be in compliance (diesel engine permits)
• Performs other related duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or a related field or equivalent
experience
• Minimum of five (5) years well servicing supervisor/manager experience with a well servicing or a related field company in the California area
• Excellent business prospecting skills and strong negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and managerial skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Knowledge of energy industry trends, performance and standards
• Ability to function in a high pressure environment with the ability to respond well to high (finish qualification)
• Ability to analyze and assess financial reports
• Above average to excellent performance in current position
• Strong understanding of Safety Processes
• Knowledge of government rules and regulations relative to the industry
