Job Title:Field Equipment Maintenance Manager  
Region:Northeast

Summary:  Over see and maintain, field inventory (iron, separators, sand separators, junk catchers, trucks, trailers, office trailers, and travel trailers) based on inspections required on time intervals to be determined for all various equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    •Intake and maintenance of separators, junk catcher, sand separators, etc. whether new or transferred.
    •Setup and maintain equipment maintenance system MTR's and pressure tests, repairs, inspections etc.
    •Setup, maintain and track, equipment maintenance schedules.
    •Setup and maintain asset system using serial ID #'s to identify each asset group.
    •Purchasing of rebuild parts and spares (thru PO system).
    •Manage personnel for maintenance and repair in shop and field.
    •Setup spare parts system for field personnel requirements.
    •Setup pre and post separator, sand separator, junk catcher and other vessel inspection and record keeping.
    •Setup annual vessel hydro testing schedule and record keeping.
    •Setup for field inspections of all assets groups under your control.
    •Work closely with District Manager to control costs for replacement, repair or lost of equipment.
    •Setup a monthly budget for non-re-billable purchases or work (tools, spare parts, rebuilding parts and costs, manpower costs).
    •Present monthly report on progress and issues, associated costs, needs.

Job Requirements:

    •2-5 years of welding experience in all or the individual processes of GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW.
    •Equipment Maintenance preferred.
    •Must possess excellent organization skills.
    •Must be able to work under minimal supervision
    •Must possess excellent teamwork skills as well as be able to work independently.  
    •Must possess valid driver's license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle according to Select's insurance guidelines.

Physical Demands:

    •Must be able to: Lift and carry objects weighing no more than 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds;
    •Stand for long periods;
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl to reach hard to get at work areas;
    • Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects.
    •Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly.  
    •Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.

Work Environment:

    •Traditional Monday through Friday, 8-5pm.
    •Overtime as required.
    •May require overnight travel.
