 Job Title: Flowline Design Engineer

The Company:
a Major international oil and gas operator seeks an experience flowline design engineer to join their team in Houston
The Role:
To provide technical and commercial management to ensure quality, on time and on budget delivery of the flowline system detailed design, pipe mill fabrication, coating and insulation. Lead offshore flowline hydrotesting and pre-commissioning planning and execution.
'' Primary reviewer and consolidator on all scope area documentation workflows. Responsible for on-time review, commenting, and approval processes.
'' Manage Marine Warranty Services contract.
'' Coordinate 3rd party engineering design and verification activities.
'' Responsible for oversight of SICs interface management of the scope area. Regular interface with the internal QA/QC, HES, D&C, Ops, AIR, SIC, and Topsides teams and active participation in the project s interface management process.
'' Regular engagement of Operations in scope area issues.
'' Present offshore during flowline system installation activities (rotational on installation vessels).
'' Travel to manufacturing and fabrication sites in Europe & West Africa and offshore Angola is a requirement.
'' Assist other engineers on the team, as required.
'' Ensures Lessons Learned, Risks, and Decisions are captured, maintained, and shared with the project and external teams, on an ongoing basis. Above all other project priorities, accountable to lead, implement and promote a strong safety & IIF culture at all work sites and at home. Pro-active leadership with all contractors to achieve an incident and injury free culture and to ensure project HES goals are achieved. Demonstrating The client Way in all aspects of execution.
'' Scope areas includes the following: o All technical aspects related to flowline design (production, water injection and gas lift) o Hydrotesting and pre-commissioning o Line pipe and coiled line pipe PO packages o Water injection coating PO package Production Insulation PO package
'' Assist in negotiation and finalizing SIC contract and POs packages.
'' Point of contact for all scope area related technical and contractual issues. Responsible for oversight of SIC regarding scope area design, fabrication, testing, delivery and all related documentation.
'' Ensure Quality of the scope area through engagement of Inspectors and regular visits to the facilities.
'' Manage the schedule for each of the scope areas and ensure that risk mitigation plans are developed and implemented. Mitigate scope creep and ensure minimal cost variance.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS, MS optional, BSc(Hons) or MSc (UK)
10+ years, PE preferred and maybe required by region. Charter Engineer required (UK)
Travel to manufacturing and fabrication sites in Europe & West Africa and offshore Angola is a requirement.
