 Ensco International is currently recruiting for an Accountant in its Broussard office. The main objective of this job is to accurately summarize, invoice and report revenue for North and South America Unit in accordance with Ensco International Inc. policies and procedures. Properly classify rig expenditures by analyzing accounting codes prior to authorization of expenditures. Analyze customer contracts to ensure that invoices are issued in accordance with contractual obligations and liase with customer representatives to ensure receivables are collected in a timely manner. Record accounting transactions and analyze financial results, in accordance with GAAP on a monthly basis to ensure accurate financial reporting for our North and South America Unit.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, 5 years accounting experience, preferably in an Oil & Gas service organization. Excellent MS Office skills, PeopleSoft experience preferred.
