 Subsea Engineer - Direct Hire Job Description:
Aerotek Energy Services is seeking a Subsea Engineer for our Offshore Drilling Company in the oil & gas industry. This position is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity & located here in Houston, TX.
Our client is looking for a ''degreed'' Subsea Engineer - systems eng/design/equipment spec support / asset mgt of Subsea BOP systems and equipment.
Overview:
- Support relative to the repair/overhaul/modification/procurement of subsea equipment and systems
- Monitor for manufacturing alerts and PIB's / work with subsea equipment vendors during fabrication and repairs
- Compliance with Preventive Maintenance
- Prefers experience with any of the following BOP's - annular, spherical preventer, ram preventers, LMRP (lower marine riser package), diverter, pos lock / multi lock / ultra lock, 15K psi BOP
- Prefers experience with Multiplex (MUX) control systems up to 10,000 ft WD
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous work experience with drilling companies
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Houston based but heavy off-shore travel required (30-50%)
- 5+ years of related working experience
Required Skills:
- BS IN ENGINEERING
- MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS
- BLOW OUT PREVENTER EXPERIENCE
