About the Project
WorleyParsons is currently supporting a substantial, Wellhead Pressure Management Project that is an expansion of our client's existing facilities located in Tengiz in western Kazakhstan.
The project will add further processing, production gathering and sour gas re-injection capacity and increase production by 12 MMTPY. The Project will increase oil production by a further 12 million tons per year to a total of approximately 36 million tons per year and builds upon the success of the recent Sour Gas Injection and Second Generation Plant expansion, which is proving the viability of sour gas injection into the Tengiz reservoir.
The design is based on modularization concepts and also includes an Early Works program to design and construct enabling works. The Early Works scope includes heavy haul road, construction camp and a port.
As a result of this expansion program, we are seeking experienced Contracts Engineers to be based in Farnborough initially, and later transition out to Kazakhstan (Tengiz or Atyrau).
About the Role
Contracts Engineer will assist with the entire pre-award contracting process of project RFP packages to include Scopes of Work and associated Exhibits and Attachments, Commercial Terms and Conditions of Contract; obtain client approval to issue RFP package; bid clarification meetings, receipt and evaluation of bids: preparation of award recommendation and conforming final Contract documents - all in accordance with Project procedures.
For this current requisition, the majority of the Contract will be Early Work related. After completion of the pre-award activities, the CE will relocate to Kazakhstan where the CE will execute the post-award activities as per the agreed project procedures. Main duties, but not limited to, consist of: host and document contractor meeting, management of the contracts financially and in CMSi, manage changes processes, execute and document monthly reconciliation, retention of document and manage the close-out of activities.
Key interfaces are: internal Engineering and Construction taskforce, Contracts discipline both in Farnborough and in Atyrau, the client and client representatives and Contractors.
