Arrow Energy, a leading cleaner energy company, is a 50/50 joint venture partnership between Royal Dutch Shell and PetroChina. As one of the largest integrated energy companies in Australia with five gas producing projects, ownership of one gas-fired power station and interests in two others, through coal seam gas we currently provide 20 per cent of Queensland’s gas supply, which is mostly used to generate electricity.

Right now we are expanding our activities to deliver a major coal seam gas to liquefied natural gas (CSG–LNG) project, which will play an important role in meeting growing world demand for cleaner energy. Working together, our teams in Moranbah, Dalby and Brisbane are responsible for exploration activities to identify future gas reserves, the running and expansion of existing domestic production activities, and the supply of gas for the proposed Arrow LNG Plant on Curtis Island off Gladstone
