| How do I find a job using the Rigzone Career Center? The Rigzone Career Center is designed to be an easy-to-use and secure tool for finding employment opportunities. The first thing you need to do (if you have not done so already) is setup a free membership by clicking the link “become a member”. Next, you should click the "Post Your Resume" link on the jobs homepage (or in the left hand navigation) and follow the steps. Once your resume is posted, industry recruiters will be able to find it in the database and contact you directly about positions for which you may be qualified. |

| How much does it cost to use the Rigzone Career Center? The Rigzone Career Center is a free service for all oil and gas industry job candidates. | What types of jobs are available through the Rigzone Career Center?? The number of jobs and specific positions varies from day to day based on the current employment needs of the employers using the site. In general, only positions for the oil and gas industry or related support position are posted in the Career Center. Rigzone specializes in hard-to-find industry positions such as offshore drilling rig jobs, marine construction positions, and related engineering positions such as subsea engineering and seismic analysis. In addition, our job categories include industry support positions in areas such as: legal, marketing, executive management, information technology, medical, etc. Essentially, if you work in the oil and gas industry or are interested in moving into this high growth sector, the Rigzone Career Center has the positions you are looking for. | What is a “hidden” resume listing? A hidden resume listings gives you all of the control of who sees your resume and when. With a hidden resume listing your identity (candidate profile and resume) is hidden from view - making it impossible for an employer to find you in the Rigzone resume database. The only way to share your resume and contact information with an employer is when you manually apply to an open position on Rigzone. With a hidden resume listing you will continue to receive notifications when new jobs are posted that match your qualifications. |

| How do I post my resume? Posting your resume is a quick and simple process. The first thing you need to do (if you have not done so already) is setup a free membership by clicking the link “become a member”. You must be a Rigzone member to post your resume. If you are already a member, to get started click "Post Your Resume" in the left hand navigation bar or from the main section of the candidate dashboard. The resume form is sectioned into a series of text boxes to accommodate your personal and professional information. You can either “cut-and-paste” your resume into the appropriate boxes or type in the information manually. The specific sections are: Resume Title: This is the first thing recruiters will see in the search results and it is how you will attract them to your profile. It is recommended that you use the provided space to describe what you do or detail the skills that you possess. Be sure that your “Resume Title” accurately describes who you are, what you do and what type of job you are seeking. Objective: This section should be used to explain in some detail what it is that you would like to do. You can also include some information about your personal and professional goals. Work Experience: Provide a detailed history of the work that you do and have done in the past. Be sure to include your employers, dates of employment, job responsibilities, job titles, and any special achievements or recognition. Education and Training: Provide a brief history of your education including the schools that you have attended, the degrees that you earned and any other pertinent information. Certifications & Achievements: List any special certifications and licenses that you have. List and explain important achievements and milestones in your career. Pay particular attention to achievements and events that support the type of work that you do in relation to your current job search and desired position. Skills: List important skills that pertain to the job you are seeking and/or that paint a clearer picture of the added value that you will bring to a position. Additional Information: Provide a short summary of any additional information that that describes you, your abilities, your interests, your strengths, etc. Once you have finished entering all your information, click the "Preview Your Resume" button at the bottom of the page. Your resume will display exactly as it will for recruiters when they are looking at your resume. Review the information you entered for accuracy, spelling, and content. If you need to make a change, click "Edit Resume". When you are satisfied with your resume, click "Save Resume". |

| Can I post more than one resume? You can post up to six (6) different versions of your resume to your account. You will be prompted to identify which one of the resumes should be displayed in the database as only one can be displayed at any given time. However, each time you apply for a job you will be prompted to select which of your uploaded resumes you would like to forward to the employer. |

| How do I edit my resume? Once logged in to your member account, click the "Update Your Resume/CV" link in the left-hand navigation bar in the Career Center. |

| What is "Your Career Center?" The “Your Career Center” section is a personal dashboard where you have direct access and control of your job search details and activities. From this section you can monitor the number of times your resume has been viewed, the number of replies you have received, where you have submitted applications, etc. You can also control your level of confidentiality and premium placement status. This section is also the central access point to edit your resume, remove your resume and renew your resume. |

| How do I search for a job? To begin searching for a job simply place your mouse over the "Career Center” link in the top-level navigation which will expand a sub-menu where you can click on the “Search Jobs” link. Alternatively, from the “Career Center” home page you can click on the “Search Jobs” link in the left-hand navigation bar. The job search page provides you with a form where you can specify and personalize your query. Enter and select as many or as few search criteria as you like - none are required. The more search criteria that you specify, the more precise your search will be and result in fewer matching jobs returned. If you perform a search and too many job listings appear, try narrowing your search by defining additional criteria or narrowing the search area. If your search turns up no results or very few results, try broadening your search by selecting fewer search criteria or widening the search area. |

| I tried searching for a job but my search returned no results - why? There are a number of reasons your search may have returned no results. It is possible that there are currently no open positions in the job category that you selected, or your search query may have been too narrow. Try performing a new search with fewer search criteria to widen the search query. Try performing a search on Job Category only - this will tell you if there are any current openings in your category. Work your way down from a broad search to a focused search so you don't miss any great opportunities. |

| How do I apply for a job? Once you identify a job that interests you, look towards the bottom of the job posting for the specific application instructions. Many of the job postings will have an “Apply Online” button that will lead you through process of selecting the resume you would like to forward to the employer. Some job postings will have customized application instructions, which detail the preferred method of the employer (i.e. their own online process, fax, email, etc.). Please note that if an employer does redirect you to their corporate website to complete the application process that you may need to re-enter your personal and professional information as well as upload a copy of your resume. You can only apply one-time to each job posting. |

| Do I need to have a resume on Rigzone to apply for jobs? Yes, in order to apply to a job posting on Rigzone you must be a registered member and have your resume uploaded to your account. Please note that Rigzone gives you the tools to control the privacy settings of your resume. |
