Port Operations Jobs

Port Operations involves controlling the safe navigation of vessels in and out of the port, including allocating a suitable berth and applying any necessary restrictions. The person in charge of a port will usually be the Harbour Master. Since a seaport, or harbour, straddles land and sea both maritime law and the law of the land apply to ports and is the responsibility of the Harbour Master to ensure that both are adhered to.
