Beauregard Parish Oil Worker Dies in Local Rig Accident

According to local media in DeQuincy, Louisiana, an oil rig worker died in a tragic incident that occurred Sunday in Beauregard Parish, where DeQuincy is located.

The man was identified by the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office as 50-year-old Brian Dominque, who was reportedly loading oil field equipment when the accident took place at a site off Louisiana's Highway 12, the report stated.

While loading the equipment, the load shifted and fell onto the worker, who was pronounced dead before arriving at the hospital.
