Promoting Your Events on Rigzone

The Rigzone Events Calendar is a powerful tool for reaching out to industry professionals seeking information on upcoming events. With a broad reach and thousands of visitors each month, it is an ideal place to market your conferences and training events.

How Do I Post a New Event?
Posting your events on Rigzone is easy. In just a few simple steps, you can have your event listed on the Rigzone Events Calendar.

1. Login or Create Your Organizer Account - If you're a new event organizer, the first step is to setup your company as an Event Organizer, which just requires some basic information about your company. Your Event Organizer account is free, and it allows you to manage your events from a single place by logging into the "Manage Events" section of the site. Once your account is setup, you can begin posting events.
2. Enter Your Event Details - To post your event, you simply provide the details about the event including its name, the type of event, and a description. In addition to the event description, you can specify one or more dates and locations for the event.
3. Choose Your Level of Exposure - You can choose from either posting a Standard Event, which includes the Event Details, contact form, and standard placement in search results, or a Featured Event. Featured Events are a premium option that include a great deal of added exposure from placement on the Events home page, on the Rigzone home page, in Rigzone newsletters, and more. 4. Preview Your Event - When you post your event, you have the opportunity to preview the listing to make sure that it appears correctly.
5. Purchase Your Event - Every Organizer account comes with the ability to post up to 8 free Standard Events. If you exceed the 8 free events, you can purchase more Standard Events when you create your new event listings. Or you can upgrade your event listings to Featured Events for added exposure.
6. Event Approval - To ensure that all events on the Rigzone Events Calendar are germane to the industry, all new events will be reviewed by a Rigzone editor. Once your event is reviewed, usually within one business day, it will begin appearing in the Events Calendar.

Can I Manage Events That Are Already in the Events Calendar?
Absolutely. The Rigzone Events Calendar has been designed to give you maximum control over your events and their related information. By clicking the "Manage Events" link in the left-hand navigation on any page of the Events Calendar, you can see all of your events, make changes to the event details, make changes to your company information, your company contacts, and locations. All the information presented with your listings is in your hands.

How Many Events Can I Post?
Each Event Organizer is allocated 8 free Standard Events each year. If you have more than 8 events that you would like to promote within a given year, you can purchase additional Standard Events for a small fee or you can purchase Featured Events at any time.
